Question

How to use SendGrid for mail service in DigitalOcean

I have a droplet (virtual private server) configured in DigitalOcean (Ubuntu 22.x) and I have set up a domain and have even obtained an SSL certificate for the domain. DigitalOcean, in one of their correspondences with me, indicated that they have completely blocked SMTP in their service. They hinted that they have provided SendGrid for mail authentication and mail service needs of their clients. In this regard, I would like to know how to set up SendGrid for mail service for my droplet or vps in DigitalOcean. Thanks

Hello @edidiongabasi-anwanane

You’ll need to use SendGrid details as SMTP HOST, Username and etc in your mail application. This information can be obtained from your SendGrid account.

SendGrid is also available as a one-click application from our marketplace. You can quickly spin up a droplet that is ready to use.

You can find more information here:
