For people still landing here via search, the best way to receive help in a situation like this is to open a support ticket directly from the DigitalOcean control panel.
The most common cause of this problem is that your service have not been configure to start automatically. So when the hypervisor is rebooted as part of the maintenance, the applications on the Droplet are not started when it comes back online.
