Question

I accidentally deleted "site-available" directory while trying to install Apache2 on Ubuntu. I have lost 000-default.conf . Please help!

I have tried using testdisk to undo deletion but unsuccessful. I have also been looking for ways to reinstall site confused option.

Hello,

Your default conf should look something like this:

<VirtualHost *:80>
    ServerAdmin admin@test.com
    ServerName test.com
    ServerAlias www.test.com
    DocumentRoot /var/www/test.com/public_html
    ErrorLog ${APACHE_LOG_DIR}/error.log
    CustomLog ${APACHE_LOG_DIR}/access.log combined
</VirtualHost>

You can just recreate it manually and it should work fine.

Regards, Bobby
