Question

I am getting ready to deploy my big data app into production

What are the options to getting more disk space for my NoSQL database if my disk space starts getting larger?

I have a feeling I’ll never be close to maxing out any of my IOPS before maxing out my disk space.

You can always have a droplet exclusively for your DB. This way your DB will perform better.

The disk space fills up much faster than the load on the CPU. So, it’s not economical for me at all. I can easily support 8 TB of data on an 8 core machine. It’s not economical for me to pay for 100 machines to use the CPU/Memory capacity of one machine.
