What issues are you having with GoDaddy? Pointing your domain to your Droplet can be done by setting up either 2 A entries or 1 A and CNAME entry.

Using 2 A entries, you’d create entries such as

A @ DROPLET_IP
A www DROPLET_UP

Using 1 A and 1 CNAME entry, you’d use:

A @ DROPLET_IP
CNAME www yourdomain.ext

Where DROPLET_IP is the public IP address for your Droplet and, in the second example, where yourdomain.ext is your domain name.

I tried now again, remembering that my site is WordPress has some configuration that I have to do there in the Panel?

DNS changes need to be made at GoDaddy, where you’ve registered your domain. They can’t be done through the WordPress Admin Control Panel.

You’ll need to login to your account with GoDaddy, click on the domain, and modify the DNS by adding the entries noted in my previous reply and then allow those entries to fully resolve.

Once the DNS resolves, you’ll be able to visit your domain and access your WordPress install as long as everything on your Droplet is configured and setup to run WordPress.

Yes, I have done this for a long time and it still happens days and days and nothing .. I will already configure the DNS in Go Daddy the way I was oriented, and I will also configure the Digita Ocean server the way I was oriented, go ! When I put my domain to see it loads the site, but with the server ID in the URL bar!
