I am using GHOST and want to publish a static site in HTML.

Any thoughts on doing this. I will not do this via FTP. Only SSH. I need something basic.

  • I have simplified things a bit more. I am running Ubuntu 18 and have installed Apache2 to serve and publish my simple static website. I already updated the DNS nameservers. And even updated the A and CNAME records. I just need the command-line codes for Linux.

Hello,

I could suggest 2 different approaches:

  • Add your website to GitHub and then use the git clone command on your server to clone your website files to the server itself.

  • Use the rsync command to copy the files from your laptop to the server:
