I can't configure the mail so that they are not junk (VestaCP)

Posted on April 19, 2016

Hello,

I do not speak english very well. Excuse me in advance.

This is the first time I use DigitalOcean. I managed to install VestaCP and launch my website. I can send emails with my domain name “letecheur.me”.

But I have a problem. ALL mails are marked as spam. I searched for hours, but I really do not understand.

I heard about configuring “MX” with “Create MX Record” on DigitalOcean. I heard about creating a “TXT” with code lines like: “V = mx -all spf1”

But nothing works. I have not found quite explicitly tutorial, yet I’ve read a lot but nothing works.

If anyone can help me I would be very happy.

I use ubuntu 14.04.

One place to check is this site, which can show if your IP is blacklisted: http://whatismyipaddress.com/blacklist-check Often unknown senders are marked in this way because mail servers assume the new traffic from an unknown domain may be spam.
