I cannot access my sftp/ssh

I cannot access my sftp through either fireftp or filezilla. (the error I get here is Unable to make a connection. Please try again.) I cannot even access it through putty (Putty say: Network error, connection timed out) This has been like this for some times now (Though i noticed this after installing GDATA Internet Security, but I have uninstalled it without success as well. I am using a Internet Connection from my mobile phone hotspot with DHCP. Please help me

did you try open port 22?
on ubuntu thats, ufw allow 22
do the same in gdata firewall
btw you can also access your droplet using vnc console in the droplet control panel
service sshd restart can also help
