I’m a new user. I just launched a 64-bit Ubuntu with the newest ver (13.4?).
The console is showing “Kernel panic”. I never sshed in. I never did anything on the console. This is 5 minutes old from DigitalOcean launching it. This looks like a DigitalOcean problem.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I had a similar issue twice with two different droplets. Rebooting the server helped in both cases.
Login to your DigitalOcean dashboard and access the droplet via the Console Access. If you’re able to login there, just enter the following command to reboot
sudo reboot
If you cannot login, then use the Power Cycle button instead.
Hope this helps someone :)
Have you tried spinning a droplet w/a different image, e.g. 64-bit Ubuntu 12.04 LTS? Do the same problems arise?
