Pointing domain to Namecheap is not something you have to do on Droplet. You need to change settings in DNS Management.

If you use DigitalOcean to manage DNS settings for domain then follow next steps:

  1. Go to Control Panel, Networking and select your domain.
  2. One link you provided there is list of records you need to add. Add one by one. You should see box saying Choose record type. If you don’t click on Add record button.
  3. Try to use Private Email service. You could need some time for DNS propagation (or simply said, update) to finish.

In case you don’t use DigitalOcean to manage DNS settings, you need to check your domain register help.

To know for sure are you using DO to mange DNS or no, you can do a WHOIS to your domain. It’ll show you Nameserver (NS) records for domain. If NS records are ns1.digitalocean.com, ns2.digitalocean.com and ns3.digitalocean.com, you’re using DO to manage DNS. There are many great WHOIS services free online, and you can find them with simple search. =]
