That's the default kernel for debian8.8. Is there a reason you want a different one?

Updating the kernel on your DigitalOcean Droplet is a straight forward process that differs slightly based on the Droplet's operating system. In this guide, we'll walk you through the process of updating your kernels for DigitalOcean Droplets.

Its recomend for security holes? or optimization ? Or i need stay in this kernel?

You would want to update kernel, when there is a security hole, yes.

Sometimes there's updates which fixes hardware issues or speed improvements, but they generally don't apply to virtual servers like DigitalOcean.

It's not as critical important to update kernels compared to Apache/Nginx, PHP, and other services, which are accessible from the outside, but a good rule is to keep everything update-to-date and configured securely.
