I want to add a domain name to my droplet but its saying domain name already exist.

Can you please check or remove this domain. Actually i have already tested this domain from a different account. But that account was already closed. Please remove the existing domain name.

The system performs a DNS lookup to see if the domain has already been added to DigitalOcean. If it has, you’ll receive a message that says that the domain Name already exists. If the domain has not been previously added to DigitalOcean’s DNS service, it will be added.

If the account old account is still active in our system (i.e you didn’t deactivate it through the control panel), the domain may still exist and we’d need to verify the domain is yours. The process is pretty quick and support can get this taken care of for you so that we can remove the existing entry in our system and allow you to add it to your current account.
