I have tried to do that in my digitalocean account… but I think the transfer is not completed. Inmotion gave me a code to use but I am not sure how that will be used to enable/map my domain to my Digital Ocean IP address.

I don’t think that DO supports domain registration at the moment. Instead you should be using something like cloudflare’s free dns services and point the domain at your droplet’s ip address. You can use this guide instead tho and figure out with inmotionhosting’s inhouse DNS(if it has any): https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-point-to-digitalocean-nameservers-from-common-domain-registrars
