are your ssh keys loaded into your ssh-agent?

  • Thanks for reply. I got a mail from digitalocean informing that they had to disconnect my droplets due to some possible DOS attack. They say that my outgoing traffic crossed 1298 Mb/s and they suspected something fishy. I didn’t have anything of that sort. I don’t know how and why this happened. Asked them to restore the connection and they didn’t even bother to reply to my ticket. Hence I destroyed the droplet. Would consider shifting to some other cloud providers. Bas experience with digitalocean.

Yes. That’s what the digitalocean guys say. There was a SYN attack from my droplet. I wonder how and why. I didn’t share my SSH password to anybody and I use it from my pvt pc and not any public space. I hope digitalocean guys need to ensure about such attacks. It would be very difficult going ahead with such scenarios. This was my test server, following which I had plans to expand to at least a 50 droplets and TBs volume space. I guess I need to find a more robust and secure cloud provider.
