Hello i am a newbie to this stuff. I’ve searched and i have tried many different guides to get this going but i have not got it to work. I would like to have influxdb and grafana to store and display data on the server that i can access from any where.

Should i maybe use centos?

InfluxDB is a time series, metrics, and analytics database. It is targeted at use cases for DevOps, metrics, sensor data, and real-time monitoring and analytics. After completing this tutorial, you should understand how to install, configure, and send data to InfluxDB. In addition, you should understand hwo to set up Grafana and use it to build a general purpose system monitoring dashboard.
