Image import is not working in WordPress

I'm using WooCommerce Amazon Affiliates plugin (codecanyon) for wordpress, which import products from Amazon including images, reviews etc. Everything seems to be working fine and even it's shows message that images are downloaded from Amazon but they're missing. It's not importing images in wordpress uploads folder. Folder permissions are also fine. I checked plugin on my pc localhost (UwAmp) and another hosting and images are working fine there. I'm running Ubuntu 12.04.3 x32. Any help would be really appreciated.

If you could provide some more information, we might be better able to help you. Are you seeing any messages in the error logs? Check: 


/var/log/apache2/error.log


You say the folder permissions are fine, what are they?

This is a proprietary plugin, so that makes it hard for people without a license to help debug issues with it. You might want to file a support ticket with the plugin's authors:
