I need to install this, but when I run the following code:
apt-get install ffmpeg
I get this (and more):

Usually, you’ll follow these steps to install ffmpeg. The steps to install FFmpeg are generally consistent across Ubuntu versions, and are typically done through the Ubuntu package manager (apt).
Here’s a general guide:
- First, update your package lists for upgrades and new package installations:
sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade
- Next, install FFmpeg by typing the following command:
sudo apt install ffmpeg
- To verify that the installation was successful, run:
ffmpeg -version
This should print the FFmpeg version to the console, along with its configuration details and copyright information.
I would assume the issue is coming from not running update and upgrade prior to the command being executed for installation of ffmpeg
Additionally, check if your firewall isn’t stopping the connection as well.
