Installing plugins on Redmine on Ubuntu 14.04 (DigitalOcean image)

Posted on August 20, 2014

I want to install plugins like scrum2b or backlogs on my Redmine instance, but when I follow these plugins tutorials for installation (bundle exec rake… to be exactly), something broke Redmine and I stop having access to it.

So, two questions: 1 - Redmine installation is in /srv/redmine? 2 - Any help about it?

Thanks (:

Check out the documentation on the Redmine wiki. For instance, to install scrum2b you would run:

cd /srv/redmine/plugins/
git clone https://github.com/scrum2b/scrum2b.git
bundle install
bundle exec rake redmine:plugins:migrate RAILS_ENV=production
service nginx restart

Thank you Andrew.
