internal ip addresses?

Posted on July 30, 2013

Any chance we can get internal ip addresses for our droplets? I have a load balanced solution with a couple app servers and a couple data servers. If all that traffic is going out through the internet I’m wondering if it’s a lot of extra hops for a bunch of servers all on your racks?

We’re working hard on this and are hoping to have a beta available in September.

Hi there,

Quick update here in case that anyone comes across this in 2024. This is now possible with the DigitalOcean VPC offering:
