Question

IredMail SpamHaus

I setup a droplet and installed iredmail on a ubuntu 16.4 OS. Within hours of setting up the mail server and sending a couple of emails to a hotmail account and a work account, the IP of the box has been blacklisted on spamhaus.

I dont know much, but mail-test says the email look fine, however I am noticing that my external IP is not showing up in the headers but localhost 127.0.0.1 is.

I used the following page to configure this: https://www.linuxbabe.com/mail-server/ubuntu-16-04-iredmail-server-installation

mail header below.

Thanks
