Is it possible to have different access permissions per 'space' folders?

This is to share files in the company for different sectors. Also it should have different api keys for GUI client access (that don’t have access to other folders).

  • I also would like to be able to at least be able to grant access on a space / bucket level. At the moment it appears that if you give a Spaces Access Key to someone, they have unlimited access to every one of your spaces.

I need this feature too, 250GB is a lot of space, I don’t want to create a new space every time.

Wow, this is very surprising! Why hasn’t this been added yet.
it’s 2020 now and I have looked around and can’t seem to find anyway to do this.
Without this feature it makes creating new spaces kind of pointless as you could just create folders.

It would be ideal if from the Spaces Permissions to have an additional section for Access where you can assign Access Keys and whether they have Read, Write, List, Delete Permissions per Key

This can be done with AWS S3

Agree that this would be extremely valuable

This is definitely a must-have feature. Don’t know why DO hasn’t implemented yet?

Please!! We need this :((( Permissions for API keys… c'mon guys!

So is Digital Ocean’s recommendation that we should run development and production environments in entirely separate Digital Ocean accounts?

(Note: I find that acceptable, but it’s unclear what is recommended/idiomatic here.)
