Is it possible to mount DO Spaces as internal storage in Nextcloud?

Posted on June 9, 2018

I wondered how you can use DO spaces as the main storage for nextcloud. Do I have to configure Nextcloud’s configration to run all data on an Amazon S3?

This question was answered by @Thibaultmol:

@jasonjpeters that’s only for ‘external storage’. What @daansk44 probably wants is to use this external storage as it’s main storage. Which this guide will help with:https://docs.nextcloud.com/server/14/admin_manual/configuration_files/primary_storage.html (the S3 section)

Hello, all

Yes! Spaces were designed to be compatible with S3 in order to take advantage of existing integration just like this.
