Question

Is it possible to mount DO Spaces as internal storage in Nextcloud?

I wondered how you can use DO spaces as the main storage for nextcloud. Do I have to configure Nextcloud’s configration to run all data on an Amazon S3?

@jasonjpeters that’s only for ‘external storage’. What @daansk44 probably wants is to use this external storage as it’s main storage. Which this guide will help with:https://docs.nextcloud.com/server/14/admin_manual/configuration_files/primary_storage.html (the S3 section)

DO:Spaces is S3 compatible so you should be able to accomplish this.

You can check out this discussion on how to do so. https://www.digitalocean.com/community/questions/is-it-possible-to-mount-do-spaces-as-external-storage-in-nextcloud-as-i-mount-aws-s3-storage

Hello, all

Yes! Spaces were designed to be compatible with S3 in order to take advantage of existing integration just like this.
