Since Ghost’s own allegedly large self-hosted Slack server appears to be non-functional, I’ll pose the question to a different community.
Does anyone here know if it is possible to password protect individual articles on a Ghost blog? Or install some sort of extension or modification or fork which supports this? I would like to be able to grant friends access to specific articles, to allow me to host links or video/audio tags to streamable content, without having to use some other solution, like the Wordpress blog I was using previously.

You can type !ref in this text area to quickly search our full set of tutorials, documentation & marketplace offerings and insert the link!
AFAIK, with Ghost, you can not password protect specific posts. Though depending on your usecase, there are somethings you can try.
If the Ghost blog is solely for the purpose of sharing private content, you can password protect the entire blog by checking Enable password protection under “Make this blog private” on the settings page:

If the blog is public, you can get unique preview links for unpublished posts in the post’s settings:

You’ll get a sharable link like http://my-ghost-blog.com/p/de1a059d-a0ec-4f13-871c-37161a435db1/ The post will be visable for anyone with the link, but it is not indexed.
