I am considering digital ocean for my work. Here is my requirement. Currently i use xapain for searching. Xapian pre builts index and stores them on disk. To search, it reads index stored on disk and delivers the result.
With my current provider, the disk access is networked. disk access speed is not guaranteed because it is networked storage. for every small query entire file is transferred over network and is hitting latency.
What i want to know about DO is, is SSD access networked?
