Are there any charges associated with snapshots such as size, storage, use…?

Updated 8/16/16: I wanted to give a quick update with the latest about snapshot charges. Starting October 1, 2016, we will begin charging for snapshot storage at $0.05 per gigabyte per month. The bill uses the size of compressed snapshot, not the total disk space allocated to the Droplet. So just like our other features, you only pay for what you use.
Will you inform before the charge is enforced or would it start billing without any information ??
