I ended up installing it myself by hand on a stock Ubuntu base.
You can deploy Drupal 8 with Wodby, it’s completely free and has a native integration with DigitalOcean
Drupal 8 is out but as might expect, the wheels turn extremely slowly here at DigitalOcean. Dont expect the D8 droplet anytime soon. Somewhere mid next year will be a good approximation.
