I have a standard droplet($5/month). My main concern is a DDOS attack would generate a big charge, so I would like to know if there is a way to setup a limit spending in my droplet?

Hello, mcrhistianrs
You can set up a billing alert as per celiawelia suggestion. In this way you will be notified if the usage goes over a certain amount and you can then take some actions.
If you still have some concerns about this, you can also reach to our support team.
Regards, Alex
Yes you can set up a billing alert to get an email if your usage goes over a certain amount. Instructions on how to set one up are here: https://www.digitalocean.com/docs/billing/billing-alerts/
