We just released the support for PostgreSQL 12 on Managed Databases. In addition to this, we released the capability for in-place major version upgrade that allows you to easily upgrade from one major version to another (e.g. PostgreSQL v11 to PostgreSQL v12).

Would like to see this as well, we’ve recently switched to Postgres 12 on our droplet and would like to move to separate database solution for scaling. DO Databases looks like a good fit!

We don’t have an explicit ETA for Postgres 12 at this time, but we’re actively working on supporting it. It’s coming very soon, along with a tool that enable in-place upgrades for major versions, so you can expect to upgrade fro an existing Postgres 10 or 11 service to Postgres 12 with zero downtime.
