Question

Is there any way to try out the alpha of CoreOS on a droplet?

Posted August 30, 2013 2.8k views
CoreOS (http://coreos.com/) is a stripped down Linux distribution designed to host Docker (http://docker.io) containers. I'd like to try it out on a Digital Ocean VPS. Is there any way to get a droplet built with it?

I wonder if this could be done w/VirtualBox?
@Kamal, thank you, I voted.
@Pablo, the CoreOS documentation actually talks about VirtualBox deployments. That's an option.

And its here! You can now use CoreOS on DigitalOcean. For more info, check out the blog post with the announcement and this tutorial series with all the details on getting up and running.
