I bought a new site and the dedicated server its running on it.

After i got the server, i changed the password of “root” account and then mysql root password…

Is this enough? Is there any other password that he might use to access? Its a Debian system.

With a new Debian droplet I would recommend starting here.

Depending on the services you will be running you may wish to take additional steps to secure your droplet including setting up a firewall or configuring your services to run more securely. I would recommend reviewing the articles here to find those that apply to your uses.
