My Ubuntu 12.04 amd 64 says there’s a new kernel (3.8.0.34) that is kept back (needs dist-upgrade to install it).
¿Do I have to wait to dist-upgrade it untill I see it available in the droplets Control Panel?

I do sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade more less every day.

Thank you very much for your answers.
Alejandro,

It’s still a good idea to execute:

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get -y upgrade && sudo apt-get -y dist-upgrade && sudo apt-get -y autoremove

every once in a while.
Whoa! How soon?
Currently the kernels are updated by us (i.e. you cannot boot your droplet using your own kernel). It’ll be available in the control panel soon.
