Kubernetes Node time drift

Posted on June 26, 2020

Are kubernetes nodes running NTP (or equivalent) to maintain stable clocks? I’m basically looking for confirmation that these nodes are and what the configuration is (e.g. NTP?, how many NTP servers to synchronize with?)

Hi there!

Yes all our nodes are running ntpd and are set to UTC timezone.

We are using the following ntp servers:

pool 0.debian.pool.ntp.org iburst pool 1.debian.pool.ntp.org iburst pool 2.debian.pool.ntp.org iburst pool 3.debian.pool.ntp.org iburst

Hope this helps!
