Laravel project in App platform with python script on it

I have a Laravel project that need to run a small python script (no way to do it using PHP) using Symfony Process. The python script is in the public directory. the problem is cause Digitalocean automatically detect the languages and get the App ready for php but ignores any python command. Is there anyway to build the laravel project and also install python and its requirements? SO i can run the script using python3

Hi there,

I’ve just tested this with one of the Laravel projects that I have deployed on the App platform and I was able to verify that python3 is actually already installed:

python3 --version
# Output:
Python 3.6.9

So with that in mind, there should be no specific or additional things that you need to set up.

Let me know how it goes. Regards, Bobby
