im just creating new account twice and create it and pay it but both of them locked. send ticket done no answer 8 hours waiting, dissapoint.

What made you think breaking the Terms of Service was the best way of getting your account unlocked?

  • already ask it what kind of terms of service im breaking. i remember im just create account only and not yet pay but also not create any droplet.

  • hey @Woet , I am having a similar issue.

    The problem with what you are saying is that if you don’t have an account, you cannot file tickets or post. In my case, my account was removed without me knowing why. I actually encountered a bug from Digital Ocean that forced me to switch e-mails. Their support team actually recommended I change e-mails to a new account as a workaround.

    I’m just saying, there are edge cases and support here has been very bad at dealing with some of us.


3.6 Subscribers are restricted from registering multiple Accounts with the same billing details without first notifying DigitalOcean of that intent. Otherwise, DigitalOcean shall have the right to automatically flag such Accounts as fraudulent or abusive, and DigitalOcean may, without notification to the Subscriber of such Account, suspend the service of such Account or any other Account used by such Subscriber. The use of referral codes by multiple Accounts having the same billing profile is not allowed. DigitalOcean also reserves the right to terminate a Subscriber's Account if it is targeted by malicious activity from other parties.
  • i dont have multiple account i try to register the second one cause my account still waiting review and locked after sign up and paying, twice im pay, now im really dissapoint with do. if like this ill ask refund payment.
