Lost my public key with a windows reinstall

I reinstalled windows recently and lost my public key that was on my desktop. I can get access to the console via the dashboard. Is there any way to export the private key and generate a public key for it that i can use with putty, or do i need to generate a new key pair?

If You still have private key, You can easily recreate public key.

If Your workstation is Windows than You can use PuTTYgen, or if it’s Linux than use ssh-keygen.

Of course You need to know Your passphrase…
