MAC Address Stability and Any Penalty for High Utilization?
I'm considering using DigitalOcean to drive a text-to-speech (produces audio files) application. Two issues / questions concern me. Your answers would be appreciated. Thank you! Issue 1: The text-to-speech software has a license that is keyed to the (Ethernet) MAC address of the network interface. Question 1: Will the MAC address remain consistent between starts and stops of the instance? - - - Issue 2: The software is somewhat CPU-instensive. Question 2: If the instance is running consistently at a high (not insane, but high) level of CPU utilization, is that of concern to Digital Ocean. and will there be any practical or cost impacts to me?
