I am migrating my large but inefficient database cluster $120/month (it is costly because I only use about 10% of it) to smaller database cluster $60/month using migration built in digitalocean. It is working very well until it reached the end but it never ends from source it said :
Binlog Dump GTID: Source has sent all binlog to replica; waiting for more updates
And the migration destination said in its queries :
waiting for source to send event
And the migration has NEVER stopped until this questions posted
Is it safe to stopped it manually? Or it will run migration forever?

Hi there,
Yes indeed, it is ok to manually stop the migration process.
