Minecraft server getting killed

I’m running my vanilla minecraft server on 512mb ram and me and 2 of my friends can play on it without any lag, but it keeps randomly shutting down like every hour and console gets freezed

Are you seeing any error messages? On a 512MB droplet, I’d hazard to guess that you are running out of memory. Even with only a few users, you’ll be much better off with at least 1GB. You’ll probably also want to add some swap: <br> <br>https://www.digitalocean.com/community/articles/how-to-add-swap-on-ubuntu-12-04

Thank yo so much! Had the same problem with NodeJS, NPM and Gulp being Killed. I was trying everything, when I found your reply and realized that I’ve forgot to configure swap!!
