Minecraft server out of memory

Dear people of the Digital Ocean community,

I bought a Digital Ocean 2 days ago. I am running a minecraft server on it, for developing of plugins. So sometimes it’s crashing, it says I have not very much Ram. I have a server with 1 GB ram,my minecraft server show this on my screen error:

Try adding some swap space to your droplet:

It should help prevent your server from completely running out of memory.

Swap space can be used as an "overflow" area for your system when you run out of RAM. The operating system can store data that would normally be kept in RAM on the hard drive in a specially formatted file. In this guide, we'll demonstrate how to create and use one of these files in Ubuntu 14.04.
