Question

Multiple server setup

After my last question at https://digitalocean.com/community/questions/mail-wordpress-hosting I decided to go with 3 servers.

1 for mail, 1 for web (wordpress) and 1 for databases (mysql)

Can someone give me an idea in what config to use for each (cpu, ram, disk,…)?

Also, how many (smaller) websites could I be able to host with this setup?

Thanks!

My suggestion is 1gb for the mail server, start with 512mb for the wordpress setup and the database, but of corse this depends from the traffic. If the website has 20 people per day its ok, if it has like 100 and more visitors I would go for 1 gb and according to traffic resize later the droplets.
