My traceroute is taking too long to access the server I need to connect in a every day basis. Could Digital Ocean change the routing?

Posted on April 17, 2020

This is the server I have been trying to access but it closes my connection due to the slow connection. Would it be possible to change routing tables to make it faster please?

Hello, @mellorf

Have you tried testing this (via traceroite, mtr or any other tool) from different network in order to make sure the result is always the same? I will suggest doing at least 3 tests in order to make sure there is an issue with routing.

I’ve tested this and everything seems to be fine. There is no packet loss and the connection is not closed as well.

Hope this helps!

Regards, Alex
