My website is hosted on wordpress and I installed wordpress from digitalocean marketplace. I confirmed my website status from here too: and it also shows that It’s not just you! is down.

I rebooted the server from the command line and it still did not help.

Hello, @asadmughal92

The website is loading fine tested from my end so this could’ve been something temporary or perhaps the reboot did the trick if some the services was stuck or similar.

Let me know if you spot anything wrong.

Hello Alex,

Thanks for your response.

I asked my friends to check and the told me that it works fine, I think I am having an issue with my home IP address. Is there any way to check that?

My assumption will be that this was a temporary issue and you were facing some deep browser cache. However if this issue ever occurs again you can double check this by accessing the site your any of your smart devices with mobile data on.

You can also examine the server logs in order to track down what went wrong. If you’ve installed WordPress and then immediately pointed your domain name to your droplet you might experience the issue you’ve described because of DNS cache. The thing is DNS changes might take up to 48 hours in order to fully update to ISP cache. However they usually update a lot faster.
