Question
my wordpress site goes very slow
Hello everyone:
For a couple of weeks ago my website in wordpress going very slow, I have a droplet with 1GB of ram with CentOS, do not know why this is happening. I have only one website hosting up to 12 parallel views, is the only one.
Since I started the site content not increased much, but before I loaded the site in 2 seconds, now I visit each page takes me 30 seconds.
Can anyone help or has any idea what’s going on.

as a first step, run all Wordpress updates. Run all updates on your webserver OS. Reboot.
After it boots back up, run top from the command line and see if anything is using up tons of resources. (it will give you a list of running services and how much RAM/CPU they are using)
report back if anything looks crazy.
Hi, thanks for your comment, as did all of the above, I commented that I have my wordpress optimized. Also my droplet and the problem persists even moved my website to another service provider’s and the other service provider’s still just as slow, which makes me suspect that is the web site itself.
Any ideas?
Do a speed test using http://webpagetest.org and post the results URL here. It’ll be easier to guide you.
In truth it is not its own but a customer site and am optimizing the site, I’m in charge.

Disable all plugins, and (temporarily) switch to one of the default Wordpress themes.
If the site runs great, start enabling the plugins one by one and check the speeds.
After that, re-enable your theme.
