Network transfer billing on hourly Droplet usage

August 28, 2014 1.6k views

Hello,

I'm going to deploy a complex system which will dynamically create Droplets if average load of nodes gets high. The new droplet will be destroyed if the load decreases.

How will you charge network transfer consumed by a Droplet created dynamically and destroyed after some hours of usage?

Thanks,
Serghei

Second and third answer might help you.

  • They charge you per hour of usage
  • If Droplet is powered off (not destroyed) you are charged for reserved RAM, CPU, IP and SSD space
  • Thanks for your reply, but I've asked about charging the network transfer. The situation with Droplet it-self is clear.
