I am using $10 ubuntu droplet for web scrapping using python. I scrap quora.com and I use luminati.io for IP proxies to avoid 423, 403 erros from targeting website. ( so far I scrapped 10,000 pages)
yesterday (17-07-2019 IST) I received a mail informing me that my droplet network is disabled because of, “… has been disconnected from the network after it contributed 49.9 Mbps to a 47.1 Gbps Distributed Denial of Service attack. The network traffic from your Droplet matches a pattern of malicious traffic originating from other Droplets targeted at a specific victim. …”
Who’s problem is this? is it my problem or Digital Ocean’s ??
the mail suggests me to choose one of three path further to recover or start fresh, but, I want to know about this issue and avoid such “errors” in future.

Hi there @hy505,
Unfortunately, as a community, this is not something we can help with as we have no control over accounts or droplets.
Please respond to the support ticket that was created on your account for this incident where our amazing support team will be more than happy to help you.
You are welcome to share your ticket ID here so that I can ask it is looked into sooner.
Hope that helps! - Matt.
