Newbie question regarding best practice for setting up workflow
Very new to Linux and Cloud Hosting. Have done websites from hosting providers for asp.net, php, Windows hosting. I set up my droplet per instructions. What I'd like to do is set up a similar Ubuntu VM on my work and home computer that mirrors the exact configuration on the droplet. Basically: LAMP stack Laravel (for web pages) BitBucket (for checking in files, and checking out files on droplet) I have the VM set up on my work computer. I have the droplet. I'm learning about installing packages (very different world for me). Two questions: * Is this a reasonable workflow? Is there a better workflow? * Is there a GUI option? I know Putty works for command line, but is there an option to have a graphical interface to my droplet? Thanks for any insight.
