I was following the tutorial at https://www.digitalocean.com/community/articles/how-to-configure-nginx-as-a-front-end-proxy-for-apache
I installed everything accordingly. The site is working when I try to get to the index.html but when I tried to access the info.php file I created I received a “not found” error though both index.html and info.php are in /var/www
Any idea how to fix that? Please note that I did follow the instruction as it is written, I did restart apache2 and nginx. Though apache2 gave a warning [warn] NameVirtualHost 127.0.0.1:8080 has no VirtualHosts

I solved the issue by reinstalling the system and making sure mysql worked with apache first before installing nginx. thanks a lot.
