Does anyone know how do i forward the IP address of my visitors with nginx reverse proxy because i am getting the IP of my droplet :(. This is what i have for it:
proxy_set_header X-Real-IP $remote_addr;
proxy_set_header X-Forwarded-For $remote_addr;
proxy_set_header Host $host;
proxy_pass http://127.0.0.1:8080;
I am using ubuntu 15.10

I do have the same issues. I tried to use private networking from this tuturial https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-set-up-a-node-js-application-for-production-on-ubuntu-14-04 . What application server you are using?
