Nginx vs LiteSpeed in optimal conditions for both, running a typical WP site on basic VPS, any reliable comparison?

Has anyone done real comparison between the two, running highly visited WP site? (with and without page cache)

There are some benchmarks on the web, but none seem reliable, especially those on LS own site (with Apache being vastly faster than Nginx sometimes)

A relevant (and more recent) thread warning users about some misleading “benchmarks” between Openlitespeed and Nginx that have been circulating around the web for the past few years:

Look the speed is probably similar, both are fast. But Litespeed is made for shared hosting and .htaccess files (like Apache) and Nginx is more for high-traffic WordPress sites that do not care about using cPanel and the sysadmin can control by SSH shell commands. If you don’t know shell, it’s easy to learn or you can try those premium SaaS platforms for managing your Nginx servers.
