No default Java 8 in Ubuntu 14.04 droplet available?
I just created my first ubuntu node to test how fast I’m able to deploy some microservices driven by java-8 and spring-boot .
Why are there just outdated java 6 java 7 runtimes available, and no java 8?
To inject an openjdk-8 by myself is not really a problem;
but to test some infrastructure with 100 nodes in the future, I would expect java 8 as a default option.
If this is a resource issue, you could get rid of obsolete java-6.
